ISRO Space Exhibition to be inaugurated at CMS today Deputy Chief Minister, Mr Brajesh Pathak will be the Chief Guest
Lucknow, December 6: Three-day 'Vikram Sarabhai Space Science Exhibition' being hosted by City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus will be inaugurated tomorrow on Thursday, 7th December, 2023 by the Chief Guest, Mr Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium at 10.00am.The occasion will be graced by leading scientists and astronomers along with ba distinguished gathering of parents, teachers and students. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma said that the Exhibition will showcase recent advancements in science and technology and will also exhibit a programme on rocket launching for the benefit of the onlookers and budding young scientists. The main attraction of this display will be the entire journey of India’s indigenous satellite, Chandrayaan II on the surface of the moon. The Space Exhibition is being organized in collaboration with Space Application Centre, ISRO, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Sharma further said that this unique Space Science Exhibition is completely
free of charge for al he viewers including parents, teachers and students of
Lucknow and surrounding areas who are invited for the exhibition on first come
first served basis.The Exhibition will remain open on 7, 8 and 9 December from
9.00 am to 5.00 pm daily. The Exhibition will be displayed Remote Sensing
and Communications Satellites, Navigation, Chandrayaan, Mars Orbiter Mission,
Satellite Images and Applications, Models of Camera of Mars Mission, Scaled
down Models of Launch vehicles (PSLV and GSLV), Satellites (INSAT, IRS,
Aryabhata, RISAT) etc. Mr Sharma expressed the belief that the Space Science
Exhibition is a golden opportunity for all science and space lovers to satisfy
their curiosity about the universe beyond the earth and meet top scientists of
the country.
