CMS student becomes State Champion in Mental Arithmetic Competition

Lucknow, 31 December : Kartikeya Srivastava of Class VIII, City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus brought glory to the institution by winning the State Championship in Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition. The competition was held under the aegis of Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System (UCMAS-UP Chapter). This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma said that over 1100 students of 29 districts participated in this tough competition. Kartikeya answered 200 questions in 8 minutes at this tough competition and emerged the winner. Lucknow, December 27 : Students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School distributed more than 1200 blankets to the needy with their pocket money as part of their humanitarian work for social causes. This noble work was accomplished with the help of the school's community radio program 'Vishwa Voice' and the NGO, Ehsaas Lucknow.  With this noble work, CMS students demonstrated that they are leading not just in academics but are also contributing in an active way for social and humanitarian causes.  People sleeping under the open sky in freezing cold breathed a sigh of relief upon getting the blankets and blessed the students for this noble cause. Hon'ble High Court issues Contempt of Court Notice for not complying with order to declare per student expenditure

Lucknow, 20 December 2023 : In Contempt Application (Civil) No. 3118 of 2023 [C/M Lucknow Asthetic Development Society Vs. Shri Deepak Kumar, Prin. Secy. Education, Lko. & Ors.)], contempt notice has been issued to Shri Deepak Kumar, Principal Secretary, Education, Lucknow for not complying order dated 26.08.2022 passed in Writ -C No. 15790 of 2019 [C/M Lucknow Education and Asthetic Development Society Vs. State of U.P. through Prin. Secy. Basic Education, Lucknow & Ors]. The Hon. High Court took notice that in spite of time granted to learned Standing Counsel for filing affidavit of compliance, till date the order dated 26.08.2022 has not been complied with. In the aforesaid Contempt Application, vide order dated 15.12.2023, the Hon. High Court has issued direction for filing affidavit of compliance, failing which the Hon.
