Children should be taught about World Unity & World Peace since the beginning : Dr Jagdish Gandhi

Lucknow, December 17 : A grand celebration of 'Annual Parents' Day' of City Montessori School, Indira Nagar Campus II was organized at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium with great joy and fervour. CMS Founder and rennowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi lit the lamp of learning to formally inaugurate the function. Addressing the august gathering on this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that thoughts of unity must be instilled in children since an early age. He urged the mothers and teachers to create an environment of morality and spirituality at home and school and pave the way for establishment of an ideal world society.

            Earlier, the students of CMS Indira Nagar Campus II displayed excellent educational-cultural programmes that drew great applauding of mesmerized parents after seeing their children's artistic talents. The programme began with 'All Religion Prayer' that filled the hearts of the audience with divine love and glory. Children were holding National Flags of various countries in their hands and proclaimed 'May Peace Prevail on Earth' very effectively. They presented Musical Play, Dada Dadi song, Action song, Christmas filler (Jingle Bell), Choir, Qawwali and various international and national dances disseminating the message of unity in diversity. Apart from this, wonderful presentations of School Prayer, Vande Matram, All Religion Prayer and Prayer Dance, World Unity Prayer and World Parliament and left the audience awe-struck.

            Mrs Kanika Kapoor, Principal of CMS Indira Nagar Campus II praising the talents of studens said that CMS is endeavouring through education to prepare children to abide by the teachings of God and imbibe the fact in their hearts and mind that service to humanity is the true service of God. She expressed heartiest gratitude to the parents for their cooperation in school activities.
