CMS Mahanagar Campus organizes Annual Parents and Grandparents Day celebrations


 Lucknow, December 21 : City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus organized its 'Annual Parents and Grandparents Day'  in a grand way at CMS Gomti Nagar Extension auditorium. On this occasion, students of the Primary Section presented such a beautiful array of educational-cultural items that the parents and guardians were left spellbound. They cheered and clapped heartily at the end of each item in appreciation. Ahead of this, the function began with the lamp lighting ceremony by CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi along with the grandparents. Parents and grandparents profusely praised the efforts of CMS for holistic development of students. Addressing the large gathering of parents on this occasion,  Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that grandparents shape the child’s vision by imparting universal values and global understanding with their vast range of experience. We elders have responsibility to provide moral and spiritual values and good ideas to children everywhere in home, school, and society.

            The programme began with School Prayer, All Religion Prayer and a World Peace Prayer. Students spread the message of World Unity by holding the flags of different countries and proclaiming "May Peace Prevail on Earth!". They also presented songs, dances, skits and plays that brought out the spirit of unity in diversity and the need for a value-based education. Action songs based on grandparents, skits, mothers' songs, qawwali, Christmas celebrations and many more items were presented. Students' World Parliament Presentation was another memorable item which was appreciated by one and all.

Principal of CMS Mahanagar Campus, Dr Kalpana Tripathi said on this occasion that CMS is committed to make its students good human beings. While praising the talents of students, she expressed her heartiest gratitude towards all the parents and guardians
