CMS student wins first prize in Debate competition

  Lucknow, 31 December : Vaibhav Singh, a student of class 9 of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus brought laurels to the institution by winning the first prize in the inter-school Debate competition. The event was organized by the Government of India’s Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), a unit of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). CMS Chief Relations Officer, Shri Hari Om Sharma informed that students of various prestigious schools of Lucknow participated in the event, wherein Vaibhav impressed the jury by expressing his views in favour of the topic, ‘Artificial Intelligence is Dangerous’ with a scientific and global outlook very effectively and fluently.   Lucknow, 30 December : Shaurya Bisht, a class 3 student of City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus brought laurels to the institution by winning the first prize in inter-school drawing and painting competition on wildlife and environment. This competition was organized under the aegis of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Gardens, Lucknow. Students of various prestigious schools of Lucknow participated in the event, wherein, amidst tough competition, Shaurya showed his creativity, giving the message of wildlife and environment protection through his drawing and won the first prize. CMS student enters Guinness Book of World Records

Lucknow, 29 December : Hasan Askari, a student of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I brought glory to the city by entering the Guinness Book of World Records. Hasan created a Guinness World Record for balancing a football on his knees for the longest time, a feat which required a lot of patience, concentration and strong willpower. Hasan balanced the football on his knee for 6 minutes and 16.98 seconds and set a world record for this outstanding achievement. CMS student secures admission in Arizona University, USA

Lucknow, 28 December : Vatsal Gupta, a student of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I secured admission to the prestigious Arizona University, USA for higher education, bringing laurels to the city. He will pursue an undergraduate course in Computer Science from Arizona University. CMS student wins Gold in Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 27 December : Mohammad Ali, a class 4 student of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I brought laurels to the institution by winning Gold Medal in the First Sunrise Taekwondo Cup-2021. He won this accolade in the sub-junior category. CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Shri Hari Om Sharma informed that the selected participants showcased their exemplary martial arts skills in the Taekwondo Championship, wherein, amidst a tough competition, Mohammad Ali displayed tremendous stamina and skills and earned a Gold Medal. Shri Sharma informed that excellence at CMS is not just limited to academics. CMS students are also making their mark at national and international levels in sports, music, dance and various other fields. This is because CMS believes in imparting a holistic education to its students, which contributes in their all-round development.  

CMS family mourns the demise of its alumnus, Wing Commander Harshit Sinha

  Lucknow, 27 December : The CMS family mourned the untimely demise of Wing Commander Harshit Sinha, an alumnus of City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus. A prayer meeting was held at City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus today to pay homage to its former student and Indian Air Force fighter pilot, Wing Commander Harshit Sinha who was martyred when his MiG-21 plane crashed during a training sortie in Jaisalmer on December 24. A large number of teachers, staff and students including CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi, Principal of CMS Mahanagar Campus, Dr Kalpana Tripathi, CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Shri Hari Om Sharma paid their last respects to the departed soul by observing a 2-minute silence and offered flowers on his photograph. Wing Commander Harshit was a very popular fighter pilot who had more than 2500 hours of flying experience. He was from the same 51 squadron, whose pilot Wing Commander Varthaman Abhinandan had shot down a Pakistani F-16 fighter plane.           

CMS student wins Gold in Classical Dance competition

  Lucknow, 26 December : Sreeyashee Vishwakarma, a student of City Montessori School, RDSO Campus brought laurels to the institution by winning the Gold medal in the inter-school classical dance competition. She won gold with her extraordinary dance performance in the 7 to 10 year category in the Uttar Pradesh Dance Sport Festival organized by Moradabad Dance Sport Association. The competition saw the participation of students from various prestigious schools. Amidst a tough competition, Sreeyashee won over the jury with her excellent dance performance and bagged the first prize. The Jury of the competition appreciated her talent immensely and awarded her with the Gold medal and a certificate. - डॉ . जगदीश गाँधी , प्रख्यात शिक्षाविद् एवं  संस्थापक - प्रबन्धक , सिटी मोन्टेसरी स्कूल , लखनऊ (1) बिना संघर्ष के सफलता कभी नहीं मिलती :- जब तक जीवन है , तब तक संघर्ष है। प्रत्येक दिन कोई न कोई चुनौती , कोई न कोई संघर्ष जीवन में आते ही रहते हैं तो फिर इनसे घबराना कैसा ? दुनियाँ में ऐसा कोई भी व्यक्ति नहीं है , जिसके जीवन में चुनौतियां , संघर्ष , दुःख , कठिनाई और रूकावटे न आयी हांे। कोई परीक्षा में पास होने के लिए संघर्ष कर रहा है , तो कोई परीक्षा पास करने के बाद आगे जीवन में आनेे वाली कठिनाइयों एवं चुनौतियों से पार पाने के लिए संघर्ष कर रहा है। लेकिन जिंदगी में एक बात जरूर याद रखनी चाहिए कि बिना संघर्ष के किसी को सफलता कभी नहीं मिलती। (2) संघर्ष इंसान को मजबूत बनाता है :- परिवर्तन से डरना और संघर्ष से कतराना , मनुष्य की सबसे बड़ी कायरता है। संघर्ष इंसान को मजबूत बनाता है , फिर चाहे वो कितना भी कमजोर क्यों न हो। वास्तव में संघर्ष और जीवन ए
