Man is a material being, man is a social being and man is a spiritual being, and a fine balance of the three realities is absolutely essential in the life of man. In days past, when there was unity and love in societies, a child received all the three types of education in a balanced manner right from early childhood. This had a positive impact on the character of a person who thought of his profession as an act of service to God. Make the child a gift of God and the pride of mankind :- If modern schools give only material knowledge of subjects to a child and the education that enhances his human and spiritual qualities is ignored, then the child will develop

- डॉ . जगदीश गाँधी , शिक्षाविद् एवं संस्थापक - प्रबन्धक , सिटी मोन्टेसरी स्कूल , लखनऊ (1) शिक्षा द्वारा सारी वसुधा को कुटुम्ब बनाने का सीएमएस का अनूठा अभियान :-                सिटी मोन्टेसरी स्कूल , लखनऊ की नींव मेरी पत्नी डॉ . भारती गाँधी तथा मैंने मिलकर 1 जुलाई 1959 को किराये के मकान में पड़ोसी से 300/- रूपये उधार लेकर डाली थी। वर्ष 1959 में 5 बच्चों से शुरू हुए इस विद्यालय में आज लखनऊ शहर में स्थित 18 शाखाओं में 55,000 ( पचपन हजार ) से अधिक छात्र - छात्रायें मोन्टेसरी से लेकर इण्टरमीडिएट कक्षाओं में अध्ययनरत् हैं। सीएमएस द्वारा अपनी स्थापना के समय से ही ‘ जय जगत ’ को ध्येय वाक्य के रूप में अपनाया गया है। इस विद्यालय के सभी छात्र , टीचर्स एवं स्टॉफ के सभी सदस्य एक - दूसरे को जय - जगत कहकर अभिवादन करते हैं। जय जगत के पीछे भावना यह है कि विश्व का प्रत्येक व्यक्ति परमात्मा की राह पर चले तो किसी की भी पराजय नहीं होगी बल्कि सबकी जय होगी अर्थात सारे जगत
