CMS student boldly raises issues of global concern at the United Nations

Lucknow, December 26 : City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I student Ayushi Shukla raised the prestige of the nation by giving voice to the minorities at the 16th session of the United Nations held at the UNO headquarters located in New York, USA. CMS Founder-Manager, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and President, Prof, Geeta Gandhi Kingdon congratulated and blessed this bright young pupil with a promising future ahead. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma said that this was the first talk given by Ayushi in which she raised concern for the minorities insisting on equality of behavior and equality of justice as well as a solution oriented approach towards the problems of minority groups. She cited the UN Charter focusing on those rules and articles which provide equal justice and equal privileges for the minorities in all political matters. By delivering a powerful and meaningful address at the United Nations headquarters, Ayushi proved herself as a strong proponent of women empowerment inspiring other women in the world.

            Ayushi has been a fine student of CMS who has been participating actively in various social awareness programmes and international educational events. She has always held an independent view of events. Impressed with her thoughts expressed at the International Conference of Chief Justices of the World organized by CMS, the second Vice-President of the International Criminal Court, the Hague, Netherlands, Mr Justice Antoine Kesia Mbe Mindua wrote a letter of Appreciation for Ayushi inviting her for internship to the International Criminal Court. It was during her senior school that Ayushi got a 100% scholarship for higher studies at the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations. Presently, Ayushi is working at the Geneva International Centre for Justice. Shri Sharma said that CMS is making wholehearted efforts to develop a global thing among its students. CMS makes efforts to impart education which prepares them to become world leaders who can lead the world society with their progressive ideas and scientific and humanistic approach. With this, CMS students are earning laurels for the country in international forums both in India as well as abroad.
