CMS students distribute 1200 blankets to the needy from their pocket money

Lucknow, December 27 : Students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School distributed more than 1200 blankets to the needy with their pocket money as part of their humanitarian work for social causes. This noble work was accomplished with the help of the school's community radio program 'Vishwa Voice' and the NGO, Ehsaas Lucknow.  With this noble work, CMS students demonstrated that they are leading not just in academics but are also contributing in an active way for social and humanitarian causes.  People sleeping under the open sky in freezing cold breathed a sigh of relief upon getting the blankets and blessed the students for this noble cause. While on the one hand, the poor and old sitting in the winter night breathed a sigh of relief after getting the blankets, on the other hand, the women sitting with small children in their arms were also very relieved to get the blankets. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma.

            Mr Sharma informed that CMS students distributed more than 1200 blankets this year to the needy to protect them from harsh winter. Students and teachers of CMS Kanpur Road, RDSO, Anand Nagar, Station Road, Mahanagar, Indira Nagar Campus I, Indira Nagar Campus II, Asharfabad, Chowk, Rajendra Nagar Campus I, Rajendra Nagar Campus II, Aliganj Campus I, Aliganj Campus II, Rajajipuram Campus I, Rajajipuram Campus II, Rajajipuram Campus III, Jopling Road, Gomti Nagar Campus I, Gomti Nagar Campus II, Ayodhya Road and Golf City Campuses carried out this charity drive. Blankets were distributed to the needy in Charbagh, Begum Hazrat Mahal Park, Mahanagar Gole Market, Patrakarpuram Labor Colony, Kapoorthala Square, Hanuman Setu and Medical College Chauraha areas.

            Mr Sharma added that CMS students shared their experiences of blanket distribution with the audience in the Radio program 'CMS Vishwa Voice'. This program is broadcast on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday every week from CMS Community Radio Station at CMS Kanpur Road campus.
