Student Research Center, Germany wins Overall Championship


 

Lucknow, 18 November : The 4-day International Science Olympiad 'Quanta-2023' organized by City Montessori school, Chowk Campus concluded today at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. On this occasion, winners of various competition were awarded and honoured with trophies, medals and certificates. Student Research Center Baden Wuerttemberg displayed their supremacy by bagging the Overall Championship of Quanta-2023 whereas Colegio Santa Cecilia, Brazil won the runner-up trophy. It is worth mentioning here that the students from Russia, Brazil, Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Germany, Sri Lanka and various states of India enthusiastically participated in various contests viz Debate, The Artisans Guild (Collage Making), Mathematics and Mental Ability Quiz, Water Craft Race, Obstacle Robot Race etc. spreading the message to use Science for the welfare of humanity.

            CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the Prize Distribution cum Closing Ceremony of Quanta-2023 by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that the torch of unity set alight by these students here would indeed light up the entire world and teach the world the philosophy of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam leading it towards World Unity and World Peace. At the closing ceremony, CMS students presented scintillating educational-cultural items in honour of participating students and their team leaders mesmerizing one and all.  On this occasion, the participants of Quanta-2023 put forth their views stating that CMS is a leading example of not just academic excellence but it has given a new direction to the world by teaching it the slogan of 'Jai Jagat'. Convenor of Quanta-2023 and Principal of CMS Chowk Campus, Mrs Aditi Sharma expressed heartfelt gratitude towards all the students and teachers.

            Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that the morning session began with 'Science and Computer Quiz' which captivated the minds of one and all. Participating students from India and abroad poured out their treasure of scientific knowledge in this quiz competition. The quiz was an eye opener for the participants as well as the audience. Mr Sharma further said that the students of different countries not only exhibited their knowledge in this international competition but also imbibed the concept of peace, unity and brotherhood that will illumine the whole world.
