Grand honouring of CMS meritorious students CMS March ignites flame of Character Building


 

Lucknow, 30 November : Thousands of students of City Montessori School took out a grand Character Building March today and raised their voice for education on human values conveying the message that an ideal society cannot be imagined without betterment of character and morality. CMS Founders, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr Bharti Gandhi and CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon led the Character Building March of CMS students which commenced from Maqdoompur Police Station, Gomti Nagar and culminated into a huge felicitation ceremony on reaching CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium.

            The huge Character Building March by CMS students was converted into the Meritorious Students’ Felicitation Function on reaching CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium where the toppers of 2nd Inter-campus ISC (Class XII) Comparative Examination were awarded and given prizes. The institution not only honoured the meritorious students but also their parents and teacher-guardians. Topper of Class XII ISC 2nd Comparative Examinations, Sariya Khan of CMS Mahanagar Campus, standing first among all the CMS Campuses with an enviable 93.73% marks in the aggregate, was especially honoured on this occasion. Her mother was weighed in fruits and flowers while her father was honoured with a Shawl of Honour. Besides this, the first ten position holders of the Second Inter-Campus ISC 2nd Comparative Examinations and the Campus toppers were also honoured.

            CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi, while blessing the students on this occasion said that the purpose of organizing this programme was to ignite the fire of hard work, concentrated effort and excellence in the heart of every student so that they earn name and fame for themselves, their family and school wherever they go. Dr Gandhi advised the students to always be ready not only for academic examinations but also for the greater examinations and challenges of life. CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, gave many suggestions to the students to achieve excellence in education. At the end, CMS Founder-Director and renowned educationist, Dr Bharti Gandhi delivered  the Vote of Thanks saying that it is the result of the continuous hard work, toil and dedication of students and teachers that CMS is riding high on success and being admired all over the world today.
