4-day International Mathematics Olympiad begins today at CMS


 Lucknow, 29 November : The 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad ‘Matheletics 2023’ organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II is commencing from tomorrow, 30th November at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Vice Chancellor of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Prof. Jai Prakash Pandey will inaugurate ‘Mathletics-2023’ tomorrow on Thursday, 30th November at 4.00 pm at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma. Shri Sharma informed that the various student teams from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and various states of India continued to arrive here at Lucknow to participate in this 4-day long Olympiad. CMS students and teachers warmly welcomed the participating teams upon their arrival. The young guests were delighted with their warm welcome. Mr Sharma informed that the participating teams will continue to arrive till late night and tomorrow morning.

            Mr Sharma informed that ‘Matheletics 2023’ is being organized from 30th November to 3 December at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. The competitions in this Olympiad are divided into afour groups as follows: In Group A are students of Classes III and IV, in Group B are students of Classes V and VI, in Group C are students of Classes VII and VIII whereas in Group D are students of Classes IX and X. Competitions include Number Ninza (Games), Mathdoku (Puzzle), Mathsketeers (Quiz), Confabulators (Debate) and Mathematicum Le Modele (Model Making) etc.  Mr Sharma said that the exciting array of competitions will bring out the hidden abilities of students and lead to personality development whilst also making them fit to take up new challenges in future life.
