CMS Aliganj Campus II organizes 'Annual Parents and Grandparents Day'

Lucknow, November 11 : Annual Parents and Grandparents’ Day, organized by City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II, was grandly celebrated at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium with great joy and happiness. An eager audience witnessed a profuse outflow of talents as music and dance combined and each item was unique on its own. The huge auditorium resounded with clapping and cheering after each presentation by the tiny tots.  Earlier, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering, Dr Gandhi said that unity in the family leads to unity in society and unity in the world at large. It is necessary for the younger generation to understand the importance of all the people in the family including trhe elders and give them due care and respect. CMS is committed to imparting holistic education to its students which includes material, human and divine education and this programme focuses on the human element in education.

               The programme commenced with the School Prayer and Welcome song. Wonderful cultural items dedicated to parents and grandparents earned great applause by the audience. All Religion Prayer, World Unity Prayer, Welcome dance, folk dances, yoga and many more items were much enjoyed by the attentive audience. The wonderful presentation of the World Parliament was appreciated by one and all. Principal of CMS Aliganj Campus II, Mrs Samvida Adhikari said that it is our endeavour to provide meaningful education to students and contribute to their overall development in a conducive atmosphere. She thanked the parents for their kind cooperation and participation in all school activities.
