Geofest International-2023 begins at CMS today

Lucknow, 19 November: A grand inaugural ceremony of 5-day International Geography Olympiad 'Geofest International-2023' organized by City Montessori School, Jopling Road Campus will be held tomorrow on Monday, 20th November at 4.00 pm at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Renowned environmentalist, Swami Prem Parivartan Peepal Baba will be Chief Guest on this occasion while the students of CMS will present colourful educational-cultural items in honour of participating teams from India and abroad. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that the various student teams continued to arrive here at Lucknow to participate in this 5-day long Geography Olympiad. CMS students and teachers warmly welcomed the participating teams upon their arrival. The young guests were delighted with their warm welcome. Mr Sharma informed that the participating teams will continue to arrive till late night and tomorrow morning.

            Mr Sharma further stated that  'Geofest International-2023' is being organized from 20 to 24 November at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium in which around 500 students are participating. During this Geofest International-2023, various interesting contests will be held for participants of India and abroad which include Gel-o-Mime (Mime act and poem recitation); Geotalk (Debate); Geo Ads, Geo Quiz, Geo Collage, Geo Floor Art, 3-D Model Making, 3-D Soft Board, Geo Taste, Geo Tech, Geo Toons, Geo Solutions, Geo Tales, Geo Fashion, Geo Sync and Geo Plea (Group A : Traditional Group Dance and Group B: Choreography) each imparting the message for keeping our Mother Earth green and prosperous.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. It is definitely very reassuring. So yes, I am very happy, to say the least".         A deep fascination with learning has been at the very core of all Anahita's achievemnets. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
