Simmons University, USA offers US$ 81,700 scholarship to CMS student for higher education
Lucknow, August 21 : Anoushka Gupta, a
talented student of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I has been offered
admission with a scholarship of US$ 81,700 by the prestigious Simmons
University, USA for pursuing higher education there. This scholarship has been
offered to her for the entire study period of four years. Chief Public
Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that apart from this,
Anoushka has secured admission with scholarships in 5 more noted universities
of USA, Canada and Australia raising the name of Lucknow on educational map.
These universities include, Arizona State University and University of Nebraska
of USA; King's University College and University of Lethbridge of Canada and
University of Sydney of Australia. Thus,
another meritorious CMS student has brought fame to the City of Lucknow having
received admission offers with scholarships from highly ranked universities
abroad on the basis of her excellent academic record, hard work and talents. CMS
Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi expressed great happiness
over this historic achievement of Anoushka and wished her a very bright future.
Mr Sharma further informed that each year
more than 100 CMS students are offered admissions in the top universities of
the world. This year already, over 80
CMS students have been offered admissions in the top universities of USA, UK,
Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Germany, etc., most of them on
scholarships. He further added that CMS makes consistent efforts to expand
students' horizons and provide them opportunities, facilitating their studies
in top institutions of higher education both in India and abroad. CMS is the
only SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test center in Uttar Pradesh, which
enables students of U.P. and other surrounding states to apply for higher
studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships. Prior to
this, students of UP who wished to study abroad had to travel to Delhi to find
a SAT exam center.
