Lucknows only Cambridge school delivers ace results


Lucknow, 12 August : Lucknow's only school offering IGCSE and A Levels affiliated to the Cambridge International Assessment Education (CAIE), the Cambridge Section of City Montessori School, has achieved tremendous results in Class 12 Boards yet again. Cambridge Assessment International, announced the results of its June 2021 examination series in India for A and AS levels.

            17 candidates appeared from the CMS Cambridge section for the Cambridge International A-level and AS levels. Students need to appear for a minimum of 3 A levels in order to get admissions in most universities and can stretch the number of subjects according to their capacities. Cambridge awards them grades from A* to U.

            Divyam Chaudhary and Ujjwal Gaurav both topped the school 4 A* grades and one ‘a’ grade in the AS level. Prabal Agarwal stood at the second position, scoring 3 A* and 1 ‘b’ grade in the AS level. Gaurav Pal scored 2 A*, 2 As and 1 ‘b’ in the AS level. In all, CMS Cambridge Section students brought in 18 A* grades and 13 A grades in these prestigious examinations.

            Senior Principal, Ms Manjit Batra was delighted with results and said, "We are very proud of our students who have worked hard to achieve excellent IGCSE results".

            Dr Jagdish Gandhi, Founder Manager, Dr Bharti Gandhi, Founder-Director, Prof. Geeta Kingdon, President of CMS and Mr Roshan Gandhi, Director of Strategy, CMS, expressed pleasure at these exam results and said "we are thrilled with these results, and congratulate the students for such resounding academic success with a rigorous international exam board. We are delighted that our affiliation with the CAIE board enables us to make available a different kind of pedagogy to the young people of Lucknow".
