Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath felicitates Dr Jagdish Gandhi

Lucknow, 17August : Founder of City Montessori School and renowned educationist,Dr Jagdish Gandhi was felicitated on the occasion of the third death anniversary of former Prime Minister of India, Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee in a grand ceremony organized at the Scientific Convention Centre under the aegis of Bharat Ratna Pt. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial Foundation. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented Dr Jagdish Gandhi with a shawl and a memento as a mark of this honour. Dr Dinesh Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister of UP; Shri Swatandra Dev Singh, State President, BJP; Dr Mahendra Singh, Minister for Jal Shakti, Mr Brajesh Pathak, Minister for Law and Justice, Mr Suresh Khana, Finance Minister; Mr Ashutosh Tandon, Minister for Urban Development, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia, Mayor of Lucknow and many other eminent personalities were present on the occasion. Chairman of the Bharat Ratna Pt. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial Foundation, Shri Brajesh Pathak expressed heartfelt gratitude towards one and all present at the ceremony.

            According to the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma, while expressing his heartfelt gratitude to Bharat Ratna Pt. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial Foundation, Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath and the State Government for this prestigious honour, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that the most revered Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a true public servant who has left an indelible mark of his personality and creativity in the minds of the people of India. He expressed his happiness that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Shri Yogi Adityanathji, Shri Vajpayee's dream of a strong India is being realized.

            Mr Sharma said that although Dr Jagdish Gandhi has been awarded with many national and International level awards for his endeavours in the field of education, the honour presented today will further strengthen his commitment towards the cause of education of children, their overall development, children rights, world unity and world peace. Mr Sharma said that under the guidance of Dr Jagdish Gandhi, CMS has been organizing the International Conferences of Chief Justices of the World for the past 20 years. So far over 1329 Chief Justices, Judges and Heads of States of 136 countries of the world have participated in these international conferences and given their support to the CMS campaign for world unity, world peace and for ensuring a safe future for the 2.5 billion children of the world.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
