CMS girls present 15,000 rakhis to Major General Rajiv Sharma for soldiers


Lucknow, 17August : The girls of City Montessori School have sent 15000 rakhis with a great sense of love and pride for the Indian soldiers safeguarding our borders. Representing the 55,000 students of City Montessori School, the 14 girl students of CMS under the leadership of CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi presented these rakhis to Major General, Rajiv Sharma, GOC, Central UP Sub Area and requested him to send the same to Indian soldiers deployed in the security of the country at the borders. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS.

            Mr Sharma said that these CMS students, in an informal chat, said that they are feeling very elated and proud to send these rakhis to the soldiers who keep us safe in our homes while they themselves stay away from their homes.  We want these rakhis to be tied on the wrists of our soldiers deputed at the border. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that these rakhis sent by CMS girls on this auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan show the love and respect for our soldiers that these youths and adolescents have for our brave soldiers. He expressed his happiness that CMS girls and boys are committed towards their duties and social responsibilities.
