Odyssey International-2021 to be held at CMS from 11 August

Lucknow, August 9 :  City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I is organizing the 9th International English Literature Festival 'Odyssey International-2021' online from 11 to 14 August 2021. Student participants from South Africa, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Nepal, Kuwait, Germany, Indonesia and India will display their knowledge of English language and artistic talents through various interesting competitions being held online at the festival. The above information has come from Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that Odyssey will provide English language enthusiasts from India and abroad an opportunity to celebrate this beautiful and expressive language by engaging in a range of fun activities. Mr Sharma informed that the inauguration of Odyssey International will be held in a grand online ceremony on Wednesday, 11th August at 5.00 pm.

            Giving out the details of Odyssey International-2021, Mr Sharma said that the junior and senior competitions of Odyssey have been designed such that besides gaining the understanding of the evolution and changing usage of English language, these competitions will boost the self confidence of students and will prepare them to face challenges of life with courage and fortitude. The competitions of Odyssey International include La Poesie (Poetry writing), Entrancing De Danza (Choreography), Styliste Modeliste (Character in the Costume), La Deliberation (Debate), Talent Artistique (Cartoons making), Exotica Recitazione (Drama), Kino Teatras (Cinematics), La Chorale (Choir), Interaccion Online (Virutal discussion) etc. Besides, 'Open Mike Session' will also be held for the participating teams.

            Mr Sharma informed that through such events, CMS aims at the fusion of different cultures, civilizations, languages, scientific  perspectives and thoughts which lead to the young generation learning about the importance of world unity, world peace and world fraternity. He expressed confidence that the Odyssey competitions would prove to be a milestone in bringing out the versatility of the participating students from India and abroad.
