International History and Civics Festival Reflections 2021 draws to a close

Lucknow, August 31 : The 4-day International Festival of History and Civics, ‘Reflections 2021’ organised online by City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus came to a close here today. The online Closing Ceremony of ‘Reflections 2021’ saw mesmerizing educational-cultural events presented by CMS students which enthralled everyone in the audience. Prizes were distributed virtually to the winning participants from India and abroad. The programme began with the CMS students paying obeisance to the almighty through all-religion prayer and world unity prayer. 157 Students take SAT exam at CMS

  Lucknow, August 29 : 157 students from Uttar Pradesh and adjoining states took the SAT exam held on Saturday at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus 1, which is the only SAT exam centre in Uttar Pradesh. This allows students to sit the SAT in Lucknow itself rather than having to go to Delhi.             CMS President and MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said, “SAT is a standardized test used for college admissions in the US. Around 22 lakh students take the SAT exam globally every year, though in this pandemic-affected year, only 17 lakh students took the exam. Lucknow, August 28 : The four-day long International festival of History & Civics, ‘Reflections 2021’ being organised online by CMS Mahanagar Campus was inaugurated today by Hon’ble Dr Mahendra Singh, Minister for Jal Shakti and Flood Control, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Student teams from Mauritius, Thailand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and various parts of India are participating in this international event. The scintilating educational-cultural items presented by CMS students at the inauguration in honour of the participating teams mesmerised all the participants. City students create Science and Technology platform for students to publish their work

Lucknow, August 27 : Saksham Tripathi and Daksh Kumar Singh, students of Class 11 of City Montessori School, Cambridge Section have created a Science and Technology website, named ‘Scipothesis’ for young students who wish to publish their work online. This non-profit venture aims to create a platform for individuals interested in the field of Science and Technology so that they can learn and share their knowledge with the whole world. Till date, they have helped over 3,500 students throughout the country sharing their work, research and perspectives with the world.             “It all started when I wanted to publish my work but was rejected because according to them, I did’nt have the credibility”, says Saksham.  However, undaunted, he along with his friend, Daksh created ‘Scipothesis’, a platform where anyone can post their work. CMS Student wins gold medal in International Maths Olympiad

Lucknow, August 26 : Satyarth Pandey, a student of Class X of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I brought laurels to the city by winning the gold medal in the individual category in Singapore International Maths Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC). A total of 1890 young Math wizards from 25 countries participated for Global recognition in this international event. The event was conducted in three rounds where Satyarth emerged victorious after the final round. Overjoyed on his success, Satyarth credited his teachers in CMS for this magnificent accomplishment. CMS student offered US$ 1,72,000 scholarship by US university for higher education

Lucknow, August 25 : Krishnanshu Pandey, a student of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus has been offered admission with a scholarship of US$ 1,72,000 to pursue higher education by Knox College, USA. This scholarship has been offered to him for the entire study period of four years. Lucknow girl Khushi awarded for outstanding performance in NCC

Lucknow, 24 August : Khushi Srivastava, alumna of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus has been awarded Medal of Appreciation by Director-General, NCC, Lt General Tarun Kumar Aich for her extraordinary performance in the past 3 years in NCC. Khushi is the only cadet from Lucknow to attend the Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) in New Delhi in 2019. She also attended the Republic Day Camp (RDC) and was the only cadet from Lucknow to participate in the all India NCC girls contingent the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi on Republic Day this year. She is the only girl from Uttar Pradesh to receive this accolade and has made the city proud with her achievement.             Khushi completed her class 12 in 2018 from CMS Chowk Campus. Lucknow, 23 August : Aanya Agarwal, a Class IX student of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I has brought laurels to the school by winning the first prize in the inter-school dance competition 'Central Stage Dance Competition' held online. The competition was organized under the organization 'Mission Sashktikaran'. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that Aanya was awarded the first prize in the senior category of this competition which was held on three rounds.
