Dr Jagdish Gandhi praises PM Modis theme of G20 presidency One World, One Family, One Future’
Lucknow, December 3
: Acknowledging the importance of India’s G20 presidency, Convenor of the
International Conference of Chief Justices of the World and Founder-Manager of
City Montessori School, Dr Jagdish Gandhi appreciated Prime Minister Modi’s
theme of ‘One World, One Family, One Future’, and said that the theme reflects
India’s 'pro-planet approach' and ancient ethos of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam'.
Prime Minister Modi had said that India is working with a
vision to bring the entire world together to achieve the common objective of a
better future during its G20 presidency, even though the world is going through
a deep crisis. Supporting PM Modi’s views, Dr Gandhi said that the earth was in
turmoil and our Prime Minister’s slogan is the only futuristic approach that
the world will have to take to save our coming generations from devastation. We
have been organizing the International Conference of Chief Justices of the
World since past 22 years with the single-minded objective of uniting the world
for a safe future of world’s over 2 billion children and generations
yet-to-be-born. It is satisfying to see a world leader like PM Modi taking on
this responsibility and making efforts to bring the world together.
It may be
recalled that City Montessori School organized the 23rd International
Conference of Chief Justices of the World recently in November which saw the
participation of over 150 Chief Justices, Judges and Heads of States including
the President of Mauritius, H.E. Mr Prithvirajsing Roopun. The eminent
participants unanimously passed the 'Lucknow Declaration' at the end of the
conference through which they urged the Heads of States and Heads of
Governments of all countries of the world to take urgent steps to check global
issues like global warming and introduce citizenship education, peace education
and cross-cultural understanding in all schools of their country with a view to
produce responsible global citizens.
