CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I organizes Annual Parents and Grandparents Day Children win parents' hearts with exuberant performance
Lucknow, 16 December : City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar
Campus I organized 'Annual Parents and Grandparents Day celebrations' today at
CMS Kanpur Road auditorium with much pomp and show. Tiny-tots in colourful
dresses won the hearts of their parents and grandparents with
educational-cultural items that they presented enthusiastically. On this occasion,
grandparents of students were also present in a large number to encourage their
children. Students also seemed excited
to showcase their multi-faceted talents before their parents. The event was a
testimony to the fact that the children who learn values and refinement from
home and school definitely go on to lay the foundation of a happy society.
Earlier, the function began with lighting the lamp ceremony in a atmosphere
full of joy and enthusiasm.
Addressing a
large gathering of parents and grandparents on this occasion, CMS
Founder-Director and renowned educationist, Dr Bharti Gandhi said that CMS is devoted to making children ideal
citizens of the society. We aim at students' total development, develop their
positive thinking and channelize their energy towards social uplift. Such
programmes play significant role in children's all-round development. She urged
the parents to provide moral and spiritual atmosphere to children.
The function began with 'All
Religion Prayer' and 'World Peace Prayer' spreading the message of World Peace
and Divine Unity. Different types of folk music, singing and dancing, skits,
action song, elocution, readography,
rhyme and chime and qawwali etc. Won huge applause from the audience who
were all praises for the wonderful presentations of children. On this occasion,
CMS students called for world peace and world unity through several
educational-cultural programmes and brought to the fore, the importance of
formation of a global society through presentation of a World Parliament.

Campus I, Mrs Jayashree Krishnan said that values instilled in childhood,
shape the personality of a person. CMS endeavours to make every child a light
of society. She expressed heartfelt gratitude towards parents for taking
interest in school activities.
