Sunshine Public School, Ghazipur, takes home Championship
Lucknow, December 7 :
The five-day International Youth Festival 2022, organized by City Montessori
School, Rajajipuram Campus II at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium, came to a
sparkling closing today. The winners were honoured with shields, medals, and
certificates. The team of Sunshine Public School, Ghazipur, grabbed the Overall
Championship whereas the runners-up trophy went to Blue Bells Model School,
Gurugram, Haryana.
The
prize distribution ceremony of the International Youth Fest has been
full of enthusiasm and vivacity. CMS students presented vivid
educational-cultural items in honour of participating teams and their team
leaders. CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi blessed all the teams who came to
compete in the contest from far-off places and inspired them to follow the path
of unity and peace. The feelings of unity, peace, and cordiality should prevail
over the differences, then only the goal of one world can be achieved, said Dr
Gandhi. The convenor of International Youth Festival 2022, and the Principal
of CMS Rajajipuram Campus II, Mrs Anupama Checker, said on this occasion
that the festival has been successful in doing rounded development of the young
generation and broadening their humanistic and spiritual perspective.
Ahead of it, a choreography competition organised
in the morning session proved to be a novel experience for the students. They
were full of enthusiasm and excitement clad in attractive attire to showcase
their dancing skills on the theme 'Take a Challenge for the Change'. In
this competition, 49 teams from India and abroad presented different items. The
young choreographers of Rustomji International School, Mohadi Campus,
Maharashtra, showcased the importance of five elements of nature. The team
of The S. D. Vidya School, Ambala Cantt., Haryana, presented an item on
the 'Autistic Child.' The students of Purshottam Bhagchandra Academic
School, Kolkata, performed body shaming among the youths. The participating
team of Shree Annapurna Vidhya Mandir, Secondary School, Nepal, performed
the traditional dance of Nepal, winning the hearts of all. Delhi Public
School, Bhopal, team showcased the story of courage and struggle of Arunima
Sinha, who scaled Mount Everest even after losing a leg. The students of Sunshine
Public School, Ghazipur, presented in their dance performance, a girl’s
fight against the evils happening in the society that she had seen in her
nightmares. The team of Bhawan’s B. P. Vidya Mandir, Nagpur, Maharashtra, brought
the killing of Hirankashyap alive.
