CMS students distribute 1300 blankets to the poor from their pocket money

Lucknow, December 23 : Bought from their pocket money, students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School distributed more than 1300 blankets to the needy to protect them from harsh winter, ascertaining the fact that besides leading in academics, they are also at the forefront of social and humanitarian work. This noble work was accomplished with the help of the school's community radio program 'Vishwa Voice' and the NGO, Ehsaas Lucknow, under which blankets were given out to the needy in Charbagh, Parivartan Chowk, Mahanagar Gol Market, Patrakarpuram Square, Patrakarpuram Labor Colony, Kapoorthala Square, Hanuman Setu, Pandeyganj, Medical College Chauraha areas. The poor who sleep under the open sky in the cold night were immensely happy after getting the blanket and blessed the students with open heart for their noble work. While on the one hand, the poor and old sitting in the winter night breathed a sigh of relief after getting the blankets, on the other hand, the women sitting with small children in their arms were also very relieved to get the blankets. CMS students set an example by distributing blankets and warm clothes to the needy in this bitter cold. CMS Founders Dr. Bharti Gandhi & Founder Dr. Jagdish Gandhi congratulated all the students for this noble work.
