Children should be taught about the importance of world unity right from the beginning — Dr Jagdish Gandhi, Renowned educationist and Founder, CMS

Lucknow, 24 December : City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus III celebrated 'Annual Parents and Grandparents Day' at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium in a joyous  atmosphere. CMS Founders and renowned educationists, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr Bharti Gandhi inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that children should be taught about the importance of world unity right from the very beginning. He called upon the mothers and teachers to provide an atmosphere of morality and spirituality to their children both at school and homes, paving a way for the establishment of an ideal global society. CMS Founder-Direcotor, Dr Bharti Gandhi profusely praised the multisided talents of the students on this occasion.

            The ceremony began with an All-Religion Prayer and World Peace Prayer conveying the message of World Peace and divine union. Artistic presentation of cultural items by beautifully attired children including Dada-Dadi song, Qawwali, Dance-drama, Choir, Colours of India and many more enthralled the audience. Students also conveyed the necessity of one world law for establishment of world peace and world unity through the 'World Parliament.'

            Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus III, Ms. Komal Valecha said that our efforts of making every child both good and smart can bear fruits only with the co-operation of the parents. She urged all the parents, specially the mothers, to pledge to make their children the pride of the human race. In the end, she thanked everyone present for the wonderful success of the programme.
