Grand celebrations of Christmastide Winter Fest-2022 at CMS Audience sways to the joyous tunes of Christmas Carols

Lucknow, December 23 : Students of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I organised an Inter-school Christmastide Winter Fest-2022 at the school premises with great enthusiasm, joy and gaiety. The audience  was left entranced and mesmerized to the soulful joyous singing of Christmas carols. Various prestigious schools of Lucknow sent their teams to participate in group singing  and solo singing competitions of Christmas Carols at the fest. The best teams were awarded attractive prizes, medals and certificates.

            At this grand celebration cum competition, participating teams from several schools of Lucknow enthralled the audience by their melodious choir singing spreading the message of unity, peace, prosperity and brotherhood all over the world as well as promoting religious harmony. The teams which cleared their preliminary round participated in the grand finale. The participants of Shree Ram Global School, Gomti Nagar sang the choir ‘Joy to the world, glory’ and 'Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells’. The team of Hoerner College sang ‘Angels we have heard on high’ and earned loud thundering of applause. The participating team of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I sang ‘Mary did you know’ and the solo song ‘The babe of Bethlehem’, whereas the team of CMS RDSO Campus sang the choir ‘Carol of the bells’ and  ‘Fillies now we that’. CMS Aliganj Campus I students sang ‘Carol of the bell’ and the solo song ‘Long time ago.’ Other teams also presented wonderful Christmas carols, and the audience gave a loud applause to encourage the students.

            CMS Founder and renowned educationist Dr Jagdish Gandhi profusely praised the efforts of students and their amazing singing talents. Jesus taught us the lessons of kindness and compassion. Therefore, we all should join hands, without discrimination, and pray to God because it will give way to love among the people, and unity, peace, kindness, sacrifice, justice, and prosperity will flourish in the world. CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that Christmas is significant because Jesus’s life was full of sacrifice for others and Jesus took all pain and suffering upon himself to deliver men from evil and bring joy and peace to others. In today’s chaotic world, Jesus’s teachings are extremely relevant. We must spread Christ’s teachings among all human beings to build a peaceful and tolerant world society.

            Convenor of Christmastide Winter Fest and Principal of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I, Mrs Nisha Pandey said that Christmastide Winter Fest aims at inculcating the spirit of service in young students and propagate the message amongst mankind that there is only One God who has created this universe and who is the father of all creatures and all life on earth.
