CMS students win Gold and Silver Medals in Taekwondo Championship


 

Lucknow, 9 December : Darshi Gupta and Aarav Gupta, students of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II,  brought laurels to the institution by bagging  Gold medal and Silver medal respectively in Open State Taekwondo Championship. Darshi  won Gold in 28 kg girls category, while Aarav won Silver medal in 25 kg boys category, showcasing their exemplary martial arts skills. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi expressed happiness on this achievement of CMS students and wished them a bright future ahead. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma informed that the championship was organized under the aegis of UP Taekwondo Association. Students from various noted schools of UP participated in this Championship, wherein, amidst tough competition, these CMS students displayed tremendous stamina and skills and earned Gold and Silver medals.

               Mr Sharma informed that excellence at CMS is not just limited to academics. CMS students are also making their mark at national and international levels in sports, music, dance, and various other fields. This is because CMS believes in imparting holistic education to its students, which contributes to their all-round development.
