CMS Mahanagar Campus organizes Annual Parents and Grandparents Day celebrations

Lucknow, December 19 : City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus organized 'Annual Parents’ and Grandparents’ Day' celebrations in a grand fashion at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium. On this occasion, students of Primary Section presented such a beautiful array of educational-cultural items that the parents and guardians were left spellbound. They cheered and clapped heartily at the end of each item in appreciation. Ahead of this, function began with the lamp lighting ceremony by grandparents of the students. On this occasion, parents and grandparents profusely praised the efforts of CMS for holistic development of students.

            The programme began with School Prayer, All Religion Prayer and a World Peace Prayer. Students spread the message of World Unity by holding the flags of different countries and proclaiming "May Peace Prevail on Earth". They also presented songs, dances, skits and plays that brought out the spirit of unity in diversity and the need for a value-based eduction. Action song based on grandparents, skit, mothers' song, qawwali, christmas celebrations and many more items were appreciated by parents. The students' World Parliament presentation was another memorable item in which the students advocated the need for a World Parliament.

            Founder-Director of CMS, Dr Bharti Gandhi said on this occasion that CMS is committed to make its students a good human beings. Principal of CMS Mahanagar Campus, Dr Kalpana Tripathi praising the talents of students expressed her heartiest gratitude towards all the parents and guardians.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. It is definitely very reassuring. So yes, I am very happy, to say the least".         A deep fascination with learning has been at the very core of all Anahita's achievemnets. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
