March 16: City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus organized its Divine
Education Conference today in a grand fashion at the campus auditorium. CMS
Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi inaugurated the function by lighting the
lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering of parents on this occasion, Dr
Gandhi called upon the teachers
and guardians to impart good human values to children from the beginning. She
said that children are born to play important roles in life as obedient sons of
Almighty God and serve the world, therefore, the divine virtues like honesty,
non-violence, justice and cooperation etc. should be instilled in them from the
beginning.
Besides, CMS Asharfabad Campus
also organized its 'Divine Education Conference' at the school's auditorium. The
meritorious students of school were awarded prizes on this occasion amidst an
array of devotional items. Addressing the parents on this occasion, the
Principal, Ms Trapti Dwivedi said that the whole society including parents,
grandparents and neighbours, must play the dual role of providing excellent
education of all subjects and building the character of students. It is these
children who will take the society towards higher realms of progress and
development, she said. Similarly, at the Divine Education Conference of CMS
Gomti Nagar Campus I, held in the school auditorium, the Principal Mrs Abha
Anant said that the school aims at providing a holistic education by
empowering the students in academics, sports, co-curricular activities, arts
and crafts. A child instilled with Divine Knowledge can become an ideal world
citizen, an asset to his family, school and society.
Earlier, the students of CMS Kanpur
Road Campus presented many songs and dances keeping the audience glued to their
seats at the 'Divine Education Conference'. World Peace Prayer, All Religion
Prayer, World Parliament, skit, aerobics and many other items kept the audience
engaged and spellbound. Students displayed their talents to the fullest before
their parents and also displayed the CMS pattern of education inspired by the
age-old philosophy of Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam and based upon the four pillars of
education - knowledge, wisdom, spiritual perception and eloquent speech. The
students who performed brilliantly in annual examinations and other educational
and extracurricular activities were awarded prizes on this occasion. Dr
Vineeta Kamran, Senior Principal of CMS Campus Road Campus, said on this
occasion that CMS has taken upon its shoulder the responsibility to develop
its students as 'Total Quality Persons'. She thanked the parents for gracing
the function and encouraging the students.
