CMS felicitates its meritorious students
Lucknow,
19 March : Divine Education Conferences were organized by City Montessori
School, Chowk Campus, CMS Indira Nagar Campus II and CMS Rajajipuram Campus I,
wherein the meritorious students were honoured and felicitated. The meritorious
position holders were highly elated and motivated to shine even brighter in
coming years and parents seemed equally happy and joyful as they clapped
heartily on the outstanding achievements of their wards. The CMS pattern of
Broader and Bolder Education was highly appreciated and applauded by the eager
parents. Outstanding students who
had excelled in various national and
international competitions, cultural programmes, sports competitions throughout
the year and performed excellently in the annual examinations were honoured and
awarded prizes.
CMS Chowk Campus organized its
Divine Education Conference at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Chief Guest Mr
Danish Azad Ansari, State Minister for Welfare of Minorities, UP, lit the lamp
of learning to inaugurate the function. Addressing the audience, Mr Ansari
said that if we impart spiritual training to children right from the beginning,
they will naturally acquire good human values and their intelligence and
knowledge will be enhanced. They will form correct judgements and make wise
choices in life. He called upon the parents and teachers to give special
importance to the development of good virtues and human values in the younger
generation. CMS Founder-Director, Dr
Bharti Gandhi said on this occasion that mothers are needed to develop the
innate talents of children as they are their closest confidante. She called
upon the mothers to inculcate qualities of oneness of religion, morality and
character development in children from the beginning. On this occasion, the Principal,
Mrs Aditi Sharma said that Divine Education Conferences help in all round
development of children by combining textual knowledge with Divine education.
The Divine Education Conference
of CMS Indira Nagar Campus II (United World Campus) was held at CMS Gomti Nagar
Campus II auditorium. The programme was inaugurated by the CMS Manager, Prof.
Geeta Gandhi Kingdon by lighting the lamp of learning. In her address,
Prof. Kingdon said that the purpose of education was to draw out the hidden
abilities of children and develop their talents to the maximum. So that they
become active agents of social transformation. On this occasion, Principal, Mrs
Kanika Kapoor thanked the parents for their cooperation and participation in
all school activities.
Similarly, CMS Rajajipuram Campus
I organized its Divine Education Conference at its huge school premises. On
this momentous occasion, CMS students presented a variety of social, cultural
items which mesmerized the audience and created a perfect picture of unity in
diversity. They presented the four building blocks of the institution namely
universal values, global understanding, excellence in all subjects and service
to the world. Addressing the august
gathering, Senior Principal, Mrs Nisha Pandey said that students must be
educated not only in material and human education, but their Divine needs must
also be catered to. CMS encourages its pupils to acquire Divine virtues that
lead to character building and socially useful education which leads them to
serve society on a world level.
