Lucknow, March 6 : City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I organized 'Divine Education Conference' today on its school premises with great fanfare. Chief Guest, Shri Awanish Awasthi, IAS, Chief Advisor to Chief Minister, UP, while addressing the gathering on this occasion, said that foundation of an ideal society can be laid only through the holistic education. A well cultured and peaceful atmosphere at home and school can develop children into balanced human beings and lead them into the right direction. He emphasized that a modern school has a tremendous social responsibility on its shoulders. It aims at making every child both inwardly good and outwardly smart and peaceful. Earlier, Shri Awasthi pay homage to the visionary leader and CMS Founder, Late Dr Jagdish Gandhi. CMS Founder-Director and renowned educationist, Dr. Bharti Gandhi said on this occasion that meaningful education is the whole purpose of life as it leads to total development of children. CMS inspires its children to gain hundred percent knowledge of all subjects and imparts wisdom so that they become good human beings.

             At the Divine Education Conference, the meritorious students of the school, who had won prizes in various competitive examinations, cultural programmes, sports competitions and performed excellently in the annual examinations were awarded prizes amidst scintillating educational-cultural items. The programme began with melodious presentations of School Prayer, All Religion Prayer and World Unity Prayer. On this occasion, students presented a series of educational-cultural items mesmerizing one and all.

            On this occasion, CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that 'Divine Education Conferences' being organized in various CMS campuses are actually very helpful in developing good qualities in children and making them 'Total Quality Person' by empowering them with divine, material and human education. Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Mrs Abha Anant while expressing her heartfelt gratitude towards parents and guardians, said that CMS is committed to imparting material, human and divine education to its students to nurture them as good and smart citizens, a gift of God to humanity and Total Quality Persons.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. It is definitely very reassuring. So yes, I am very happy, to say the least".         A deep fascination with learning has been at the very core of all Anahita's achievemnets. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
