Develop a global perspective in children from an early age — Mr Suboor H. Usmani, IRS,Income Tax Commissioner

Lucknow, March 21: City Montessori School, Station Road Campus organized its Divine Education Conference today in a grand way at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Chief Guest, Mr Suboor H. Usmani, IRS, Income Tax Commissioner, inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Shri Usmani said that we must develop a global outlook among the students, so that the younger generation can play a constructive role in world society. He said that human civilization, today, has acquired great technological advancement and raised the level of existence. We need to prepare our children for the New World Order by combining academic with spiritual learning. On this occasion, Mr Usmani honoured and awarded prizes to the meritorious students of the school who had excelled in various national and international competitions, cultural, and sports competitions throughout the year and those who performed excellently in the annual examinations.

            CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi said on this occasion that our rich cultural heritage believes in Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam and we must imbue the seeds of this concept in young minds. She appealed to parents and teachers to ‘catch them young’ and instill the virtues of compassion, kindness, brotherhood, tolerance, love, unity and peace at an early age. Principal of CMS Station Road Campus, Mrs. Deepali Gautam expressed her heartfelt thanks to the parents for attending the function and cheering the children.

            CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II also organized Divine Education Conference at its auditorium with great fanfare. Students of the school presented beautiful cultural items full of spiritual thoughts making the atmosphere happy and Divine.. The songs of peace, love and unity presented by students filled the atmosphere with the divine light of World Unity and Godliness. The children also highlighted the universal values, global understanding, excellence in all things and service to the world which the institution stands for. Senior Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II, Ms Manjit Batra said on this occasion that the spiritual, moral and good environment of our school develops good character in the students who will bring about a change in society. Principal, Mrs Sangeeta Bannerjee expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the parents.
