CMS student gets All India 15th Rank in GATE Exam

Lucknow, March 19 : Prateek Agarwal, a meritorious student of City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus has brought glory to the city of Lucknow by securing the 15th rank in All India GATE 2024 (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) Examination. This prestigious exam was organized by the Indian Institute of Technology. Now Prateek aims to go in for higher research at postgraduate level in the best engineering colleges of the country and make his dreams come true. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon has congratulated this bright CMS Gem and wished him a shining future ahead. This information was given by the chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that Prateek has given the entire credit of his success to his parents, teachers and the peaceful and harmonious atmosphere of the school that is highly conducive to study.

            Mr Sharma said that Prateek secured 94.8% marks in Class X (ICSE) from CMS Indira Nagar Campus and 95.75% in Class XII (ISC) Board Examinations from CMS Mahanagar Campus. After this, he did his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT BHU. In an informal talk, Prateek said, " I am really fortunate that I got the opportunity to study in a great institution like CMS under the tutelage of such noble teachers. Mathematics has always been my favourite subject and my teachers recognized my talent and encouraged me to realize my potential. I want to make new discoveries during my course of research in science and mathematics. Prateek's father Shri Varun Agarwal is a retired official while his mother, Mrs Sudha Agarwal is a home maker. Mr Sharma said that it is a matter of great pride for the CMS family that hundreds of CMS students are qualifying in various competitive examinations in India and earning laurels for the institution.
