Making students Total Quality Personsis the moral responsibility of schools : Dr Bharti Gandhi, Founder-Director, CMS


 

Lucknow, March 22 : City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II organized its 'Divine Education Conference' today with great enthusiasm at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of the learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that children must be imparted character building, and moral, material and human education to grow up as World Citizens and Total Quality Persons. The young generation, full of moral and spiritual values will uplift society. She urged the parents and teachers to inculcate human and moral values in the younger generation from their early childhood. Dr Gandhi honoured and awarded prizes to the meritorious students of the school who had secured top positions in the annual examinations and brought name and fame to the school by winning prizes in various competitive events, cultural activities and sports. A large number of parents were present on this occasion to encourage and cheer the students. At the end, the Principal, Mrs. Anupama Chekar expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the parents.

            CMS Kanpur Road Campus also organized the Divine Education Conference at its auditorium with great fanfare. Students of the Campus presented an array of scintillating educational-cultural items mesmerizing the audience and in return, the whole auditorium resounded with applause from parents and guardians. The programme began with All Religion and World Peace Prayer followed by songs and dances, qawwali, choir, devotional songs by mothers of students and many other educational-cultural items. Students also presented a mock World Parliament which won the hearts of one and all. The special feature of the function was that the students not only displayed multi-sided talents in front of their parents but also showcased the unique Broader and Bolder teaching methodology of CMS. On this occasion, meritorious students of the school were honoured with awards.

            Addressing the gathering of parents on this occasion, the Principal of CMS Kanpur Road Campus, Dr Vineeta Kamran said that it is important to provide a healthy environment to children to build their character and develop their intellectual abilities. Such functions ensure the all-round development of students, she said. Dr Kamran thanked the parents for their constant support saying that children are gifts of God to mankind and we make every effort to turn them into the light of the world. We are immensely grateful to the parents for their cooperation and support in this endeavour.
