With 9 Gold Medals, CMS students bag total 20 medals in State Taekwondo Championship


 

Lucknow, 14 September : Talented students of City Montessori School, Jopling Road Campus brought laurels to the institution by bagging the maximum number of 20 medals including 9 Gold, 6 Silver and 5 Bronze Medals in the 17th State Taekwondo Championship. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma informed that the championship was organized at Lalji Tandon Hall, Chowk Stadium, Lucknow. In this championship, 7 students of CMS Jopling Road Campus namely Pari Tripathi, Darsh Patel, Mohd Hamd, Aditi Yadav, Kritika Kanaujia, Rudra Yaduvanshi and Priyanshu Yadav won a gold medal each while Ashutosh Bajpai has won 2 gold medals. Apart from this, 6 students have won silver medals and 5 students have won bronze medals. Selected students from various schools participated in this championship, wherein, amidst tough competition, these CMS students displayed tremendous stamina and skill and bagged the maximum number of 20 medals. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated these talented students and wished them a bright future.

               Mr Sharma informed that excellence at CMS is not just limited to academics. CMS students are also making their mark at national and international levels in sports, music, dance, and various other fields. This is because CMS believes in imparting holistic education to its students, which contributes to their all-round development.
