With 26 Gold Medals, CMS students bag total 41 medals in boxing championship

Lucknow, 6 September : Boxing talents of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus brought laurels to the institution winning a total of 41 medals - 26 Golds,
8 Silvers and 7 Bronzes at the ASISC UP & UK Zonal Boxing Championship. This championship was organized under the aegis of the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate Examination (ASISC) in which selected students of various schools participated and displayed their sports talent. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS.  Shri Sharma stated that the students of CMS Station Road Campus grabbed maximum number of medals in both boys' and girls' groups in Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 categories. CMS Station Road students who won the gold medals are Mishira Agarwal, Divyanshi Pandey, Areeba, Mariyam Fatima, Manika Singh Yadav, Aishwarya Shukla, Shreya, Arya Sahu, Tejasvi Vaish, Ananya Singh, Vaishnavi, Adrika Gupta, Tanya, Medhavya, Rafat Abbasi, Sarah Fatima, Antra Kesharwani, Zara Niyaz, Aditi Mani, Mohd. Huzaifa Shaban, Agrim Pratap Sonker, Mohd. Mustafa, Sarthak Kumar Bharti, Rachit Srivastava, Hamza Khan and Arsh Alam. Amidst tough competition, CMS students proved much superior in technique, skills and stamina and bagged the maximum medals. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi blessed these skilled talented players wishing them a bright future ahead.

               Mr Sharma further stated that CMS not only prepares its students for academic excellence, it also prepares them for games and other activities. As a result, CMS students are raising the school flag high in academics and sports nationally and internationally.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
