Grand inauguration of International Cosplay Competition 'Fantasm-2023'

Lucknow, September 9 : The three-day International Cosplay Competition 'Fantasm-2023' began in all its grandeur at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium today. Chief Guest, Shri Anil Rastogi, renowned actor and theatre artiste, formally inaugurated the opening ceremony by lighting the lamp while Ms Renita Kapoor, actress and singer, graced the occasion with her benign presence as Special Guest of Honour.

            Addressing the august gathering at the inaugural ceremony, the Chief Guest,
Shri Anil Rastogi said that
literature, art and culture develop the finer aspects of personality which are also powerful mediums of self-expression and can bind the children with their emotional appeal and call for World Unity. They also help to enhance creative talent in children and give them the much needed self-confidence in life. Special Guest of Honour, Ms Renita Kapoor said that it is heartening to see that CMS is endeavouring its level best to develop a global outlook in young students so that they become world leaders when they grow up. At the inaugural ceremony, CMS students presented  a series of colourful educational-cultural items in honour of the participating students' teams, which won the hearts of one and all. This programme received immense audience appreciation and sent the auditorium reverberating with incessant clappings. The programme began with All Religions Prayer and World Peace prayer followed by a mock World Parliament through which the students suggested thoughtful solutions to various global problems.

             CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi blessed the young participants of Fantasm-2023 belonging to primary and junior section saying that the values that are imparted to the young students in the initial years, guide them throughout their life. This event is being organized with the aim of nurturing the talent of students and develop in them, value of morality, good character, unity and peace which will prove to be important in making them ideal citizens of the society. CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi and CMS President & MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon also motivated the students with their motivative ideas. Convenor of ‘Fantasm 2023’ and Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I, Mrs Jayashree Krishnan expressed her gratitude towards everyone and said that a new era of unity, friendship and brotherhood is also being ushered in the future generations with this event.
