CMS team wins Championship in Yoga Competition

Lucknow, 27 September : Students' team of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus  won the first prize in District Yogasana Championship bringing laurels to the institution. While on the one hand Varisha of CMS Chowk Campus won the gold medal in sub-junior category, on the other hand, Divyani and Mariyam won the gold medal in Rythemic pair sub-junior category. Similarly in the Artistic Category (sub-junior) category, the gold medallists were Chhavi and Dhruvi. Besides this, Angel Anand won two silver medals in the junior category while in sub-junior category, Dhruvi won the silver while Chhavi won the bronze medal. The competition was organized under the aegis of the District Yogasana Sports, Lucknow. This information was organized by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma. Shri Sharma informed that several prestigious schools and colleges had participated in the Championship. The participants exhibited a high degree of excellence, physical fitness and mastery over difficult yogic postures and asasanas. CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated the winners and encouraged them to keep up their practice and dedication towards yoga. 

               Shri Sharma further informed that CMS students are motivated to participate and prove their excellence in various fields of knowledge. They are constantly winning prizes at national and international level and earning laurels for the institution.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. It is definitely very reassuring. So yes, I am very happy, to say the least".         A deep fascination with learning has been at the very core of all Anahita's achievemnets. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
