Confluence-2023 concludes with prize distribution

Lucknow, 2 September : The 4-day International Festival of World Unity and World Peace  'Confluence-2023' organized by City Montessori school, Indira Nagar Campus concluded today at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium with pledge by students of India and abroad to bring about World Unity and World Peace. Kids Gurukul International School (Branch 1), Jalgaon, Maharashtra displayed their supremacy by bagging the Overall Championship of Confluence-2023. It is worth mentioning here that more than 500 students from Nepal, Sri Lanka and various states of India enthusiastically participated in various contests viz Poster Making, Collage Making, Choreography, Paper Presentation, English Choir, Drama, Photography, Quiz etc. spreading the message of Unity, Peace and Brotherhood in the whole world.

            Earlier, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the Prize Distribution cum Closing Ceremony of Confluence-2023 by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that the torch of unity set alight by these students here would indeed light up the entire world and teach the world the philosophy of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam leading it towards World Unity and World Peace. In this international festival, students have had the opportunity to develop their versatility as well as human and spiritual perspectives, he added.

            At the closing ceremony, CMS students presented scintillating educational-cultural items in honour of participating students and their team leaders mesmerizing one and all.  On this occasion, the participants of Confluence-2023 put forth their views stating that CMS is a leading example of not just academic excellence but it has given a new direction to the world by teaching it the slogan of 'Jai Jagat'. Principal of CMS Indira Nagar and Convener of Confluence-2023, Mrs Ruchi Bhuwan Joshi said that 'Confluence' was aimed at drawing out students' innate talents and providing them an opportunity to develop their overall personality. She expressed the hope that this step taken by CMS with a view to foster feelings of brotherhood and world unity in young minds would create new milestones in world history.
