CMS girls dominate winning Gold Trophy in Taekwondo
Lucknow, 19 September : Talented students
of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I established their supremacy in
three-day CISCE Regional Taekwondo Tournament held in Kanpur winning the Gold
Trophy in Girls' Section and bringing name and fame to the city of Lucknow. The
tournament was organized by the Council for the Indian School Certificate
Examinations (CISCE) wherein CMS Boys and Girls won 2 gold medals, 3 silver
medals and 6 bronze medals sailing high on the sea of success. Two outstanding
girl students who have won gold medals, namely , Suchismita Sharma and
Vaishnavi Singh have been selected for the national level competitions. This
information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om
Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that in this touch tournaments, organized for
students of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, CMS players exhibited their
martial arts abilities in taekwondo and
won the maximum number of medals holding a promise of securing medals at
national and international level in future.
While
on the one hand, Suchismita Sharma and Vaishnavi Singh won gold medals and
ruled supreme in the game, on their hand, Aradhya Singh and Harshita Pande won
the silver medal while Vaishnavi Gusain, Nitya Prakash and Stasha Shukla won bronze medals. Similarly, in the boys category, Abhinav
Yadav got silver medal while Laraib Siddiqui, Aruoush Singh and Kshitij Bajaj
won bronze medal. The CMS team bubbling with 2 golds, 3 silvers and 6 bronze
medals and proved their prowess in the martial art taekwondo. CMS Founder,
Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated the winners and wished them a bright future
ahead.
