Private SchoolsAssociation has appealed to the CM to open schools in the best interest of children

Lucknow, June 27 : Keeping in mind the welfare of children and their future, the Association of Private Schools, Uttar Pradesh has appealed to the Chief Minister of UP, Hon'ble Shri Yogi Adityanathji to reopen classes Primary to Intermediate in all schools from July 2021 for offline teaching. President of the Association, Mr Atul Kumar said that keeping in mind the future of children, it will be in their interest to reopen schools in July. He informed that the Director of AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) Mr Randeep Guleria has also opined that physical presence of students and teachers in class is much more useful than online teaching. In the present scenario, when Covid cases have significantly reduced, offline classes must take the place of online education which was being followed for the last one and a half years. This will lead to the total personality development of students, he said. Dr Guleria encouraged schools to work aggressively towards reopening physically. Children and youth have suffered greatly in respect of studies due to the corona virus pandemic.

President of the Association said that children are not attending classes for the past one and a half years. This has caused them a lot of mental tension. And now when the state administration has allowed the reopening of markets, malls, restaurants, train services, metro, bus and air travel for the general public then it must also reopen schools for students to provide them due justice. When students are free from mental tension, their future will be secure and safe.

Mr Atul kumar further stated that the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanathji has made consistent efforts and taken concrete steps to control the deadly corona pandemic from spreading in UP and this has borne fruit, as can be seen in the continuous and drastic reduction of cases here. In the coming days, this number is sure to reduce to zero. As such, keeping in mind the interest, welfare and future of children, it is important to start offline classes for children from July 2021 onwards.
