Inter-school Virtual Yoga Meet today at CMS Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia, Mayor, will be the Chief Guest


 Lucknow, June 20 : City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I is organizing the 6th Inter-School Yoga Meet online on Monday, 21st June, the International Day of Yoga. Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia, will inaugurate the Yoga Meet online at 6.30 am on 21st June as the Chief Guest. CMS Founders and renowned educationists, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi, Yoga trainer Shri Ashok Kewlani, Principal of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I, Mrs Nisha Pandey along with the Principals of all other campuses of CMS and many other eminent personalities and yoga lovers, will glorify the event by their online presence. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS.

            Mr Sharma informed that at this yoga meet, various yogasanas and yogic exercises will be practiced under the guidance of Yoga trainer Shri Ashok Kewlani. Apart from this, yoga lovers will be live with the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi's yoga event. On this occasion, eminent personalities from India and abroad will enlighten the public about the importance of yoga in daily life with their meaningful speeches. These eminent personalities include, Ms. Antonietta Rozzi, Senior Yoga teacher, Italy; Mr. Rahul Autade, Yoga Expert, Thailand; Ms. Anushree Srivastava, Data and Analyst Manager, Deloitte Consulting, Chicago; Mr. Abhishek Kumar, Production Planner, Dematic Pvt. Ltd., Sydney, Ms. Gauri Sharma, Project Engineer, Dematic Pvt. Ltd, Sydney, Ms. Amrita Lohia,  Yoga Consultant, Delhi; Ms. Chinkal Sharma, Yoga Consultant, Gurugram and Rajeshwari Singh, Director, Caravan Classroom, Gujarat etc.

            Mr Sharma further stated that at this inter-school yoga meet, students from different schools of Lucknow will demonstrate physical fitness through various yogasanas and yogik performances, thereby sensitizing the world about this Indian fitness technique. Each team will comprise 10 students having 6 minutes to perform 5 yogik asanas. Renowned yoga experts will be judging students' performance.
