CM Shri Yogi Adityanath to plant saplings at CMS Gomti Nagar Extension with students today


 Lucknow, June 30 : Chief Minister of UP, Hon'ble Yogi Adityanath along with five students of City Montessori School representing 55,000 students of the institution will launch the massive Van Mahotsav Programme of the State Government at the park adjacent to CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Campus tomorrow on 1st July at 9.30 am. This campaign aims at planting 30 crore saplings across the state between 1st July to 31st October. Five students of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II on behalf of the 55,000 CMS students will give the message of environmental protection and a green earth on this occasion. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that state government ministers, top administrative officers, educationists, social workers and enlightened citizens of Lucknow, apart from the Principals of all CMS Campuses will be planting saplings at this special occasion organized under the guidance of Ms Manjit Batra, Senior Principal, CMS Gomti Nagar Campuses to give out the message of environmental protection.

            Mr Sharma informed that after this programme, tree plantation will be done in all CMS Campuses on other days in which all kinds of plants specially the air purifying, medicinal and plants which give out more oxygen will be planted. Mr Sharma said that at CMS there is a continuous effort in making students and youth aware about the importance of environmental protection and the students of the school have always been on the forefront for the cause of the environment and other social awareness campaigns. CMS believes that positive change in the thoughts and lifestyle of people is the most important prerequisite for environmental protection.
