CMS student wins Ramanujan Maths Scholarship


 Lucknow, June 17 : Devanshi Verma, Class VIII student of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I has brought laurels to the city of Lucknow by winning the Ramanujan Maths Scholarship held at national level. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that around 33,000 students from over 200 prestigious schools across the country had participated in this competition organized by the educational agency of Bengluru, Countingwell, in which this talented student of CMS Aliganj Campus I excelled with her mathematical skills and got place among the top nine winners. The scholarship includes Rs.10,000 in cash, along with a one-year subscription to the online Mathematics learning App, Countingwell Premium. Devanshi attributes the credit of her success to the motivation and guidance of her learned and experienced teachers. CMS Founder and renowned educationist Dr Jagdish Gandhi blessed Devanshi on this outstanding success and congratulated the Principal and teachers of CMS Aliganj Campus I.

            Mr Sharma said that recognizing the importance of scientific age, CMS endeavours to develop scientific and global outlook in students which helps CMS students in excelling in national and international contests. CMS organizes various competitions in different subjects throughout the year to chisel the skills of students and provide them opportunity to explore their talents on a global platform. These events provide an international arena to the students and instil self-confidence in them. As a result, the talented and skilled students of CMS are achieving new heights of success at all fronts.
