Parents commend CMS for online classes

 Lucknow, June 1 : The parents of City Montessori School have thanked the teachers and administration of the school for not letting the educational process suffer in these difficult times of the pandemic. For this, on the one hand, the parents have praised the teachers for their dedication and commitment towards their students, on the other hand, they have commended the school management for their decision to carry on the educational process through online classes.

            Mother of Wamika Tripathi, Nursery class student of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, said, 'During these tough times, online education has proved to be a boon for all students. All the teachers are really working very hard for our kids.' Mother of Hardik Shukla of Nursery at CMS Rajendra Nagar too expressed similar sentiment saying 'I am thankful to CMS for organising the Summer Camp in which my son is learning new things in a fun way.' Ms Shazia Malik, mother of Abeer Malik of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I said, 'I would like to thank the school administration and the teachers for giving their best to provide him education during these confusing times of pandemic. I have nothing but sincere gratitude to them.' She said that she is very satisfied with her son's progress. Mother of a Nursery kid Vanya Zaidi, at CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I, said, 'The innovative idea of having online classes under Summer Camp has played an important part in teaching our children regularly even during these difficult times of lockdown.' Mother of Devansh Gupta of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, said, 'We all know that it is very difficult to teach such small children online. However, you all are making sure that each child gets proper attention and the learning is smooth.' 'CMS faculty are really the true gems', she added.

            It may be mentioned that keeping the interest of students in mind CMS has decided that online classes for all students of classes Nursery to 12 shall go on till 12h of June after which the students will be given an 8 day summer vacation. Regular online classes shall resume for all classes from Montessori and Nursery to Class 12 from 21st June 2021.

            Founder-Manager of CMS, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that there has been a major loss of studies in all classes due to the pandemic. In view of this situation, it was decided to keep the summer vacations as short as possible, so that the teachers could complete the syllabus on time and prevent any further loss of education.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
