2748 Class XII CMS students and parents appeal for conducting Class 12 Board Examination


 Lucknow, June 18 : The representatives of 2748 Class XII students and parents of City Montessori School addressed an online press conference today and made an appeal to the Prime Minister Hon'ble Shri Narendra Modi to conduct the Class 12 board examination with a strong argument that only board examination can give them the real result of the two years of hard work and do justice to their future.

        Eklavya Agarwal, Shruti Shukla, Sneha Arora and Ekagra Gupta, students of Class XII at CMS, expressed concern about their future due to the cancellation of board examination and said that they are not satisfied with the proposed 30-30-40 formula of assessments, as it would not do justice to the students who have worked hard for the examination.

        Interacting with the media persons, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that the future of students is determined only by the board examination of Class XII. He said that Class XII examinations can also be conducted with proper Covid protocol in the same way as the Government of India is conducting the NEET and IIT-JEE exams. The parents of Class 12 students of CMS present on the occasion also supported the students' demand of holding the board examination.

        Supporting the students and parents' demand, Dr Gandhi made a touching appeal towards the Prime Minister, Mr Modi and Union HRD Minister, Mr Ramesh Pokhriyal that students' merit should not be disrespected and overlooked and their future must not be put at stake. He said that these students are the country's future and it is in the interest of the nation to listen to their call.
