Virtual Mothers Day celebrations held at CMS

Lucknow, May 9 : Students of all 18 campuses of City Montessori School celebrated Mothers Day online and expressed their love and gratitude towards their loving mothers.  While in the morning assemblies, teachers apprised students about the importance of the day and about sacrifices their mothers make; the students, on the other hand, expressed their emotions towards their mothers through poem recitation, elocution, skits, slogan writing, thank you cards and various other art and craft activities organized on this occasion virtually. This was also an opportunity for the students to put up their artistic talents on display. In her message for this occasion, renowned educationist and CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi wished all the mothers a very happy Mothers Day and said that mother is like the God to her children and her greatness is impossible to explain. Mothers are an important pillar of the CMS education and their contribution actually completes the process of education here. She appealed to the parents to ensure development of life values in children by providing them a spiritual and devotional atmosphere at home.

            Chief Public Relations officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that celebration of Mothers Day is an integral part of education at CMS as it develops divine values of charity, truthfulness, mercy, forgiveness, truth, honesty, diligence and service to humanity in children. Mr Sharma said that CMS believes that only the joint collaboration of the home and school can lead to the total development of students' personality. By providing students the spiritual and moral values we can make them Total Quality Persons and further ensure their participation in social upliftment. He thanked the parents for their support in CMS objective of making every child a light of the world.
