CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus holds online interactive session to mark Menstrual Hygiene Day

Lucknow, May 31: City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus II organized an online interactive session with the girl students of the junior section and their mothers to mark the Menstrual Hygiene Day. Guest Speaker on this occasion, Ms Roshnee Bhowmick, CSR Executive at Unicharm, very ably conducted the interactive session providing valuable information to students on this important topic.

            Ms Roshnee Bhowmick explained the students about the physical, psychological and behavioral changes a female body goes through at the time of puberty. The speaker explained to the students the biological process of menstruation and importance of maintaining female hygiene during a menstrual cycle. The students were informed about the importance of yoga and different asanas which help relieve menstrual cramps.

Ms Roshnee also debunked some myths and taboos and informed facts related to menstruation to the students.

            Founder Manager of CMS, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated Ms Roshnee Bhowmick for conducting an enlightening interactive session and appreciated the keen interest shown by the students and their mothers.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
