CMS student secures All India 40th Rank in Indian National Olympiad

Lucknow, May 18 : Ravija Chandel, a class XII student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I qualified for the Indian National Olympiad for Chemistry and secured All India Rank 40, making the city proud with her achievement. Over a lakh students appeared from all over India for the prestigious Indian National Olympiad for Chemistry 2021 and only 60 qualified the stage 2 examination.

            An immensely talented student of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Ravija topped the JEE Mains examination with a score of 99.6 percentile earlier in March this year. She has also qualified for the Government of India's Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna (KVPY) scholarship.

            Indian National Olympiad is one of the most prestigious examinations in the country and is considered the toughest of all examinations whose merit is recognized worldwide by premier institutions.

            Till last year, students qualifying Indian National Olympiad were invited for orientation and selection camp at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education in Mumbai, however, due to the COVID pandemic, this training camp was not held.

            Founder Manager of CMS, Dr Jagdish Gandhi heartily congratulated Ravija and all her teachers for this outstanding achievement and said that CMS prepares its students for competitive examinations in their schooling year. Because of this, scores of students find places in prestigious universities in the country and abroad.
