Lucknow Cambridge school delivers outstanding IGCSE results

Lucknow, 25th May: Students of City Montessori School, Cambridge section have made the city proud again by delivering outstanding IGCSE (Class 10) Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) board exam results which were declared today. Two students of CMS Cambridge Section, Yahya Ashraf and Sanskriti Saigal achieved A* in all the 8 subjects they took, each securing a whopping number of 8 A* grades. In all, 21 students appeared for the IGCSE offline (face-to-face) examinations in March this year. Of all the subjects in which exams were taken, 56.5% were passed at A* and A grades. A total of 53 A* and 39 A grades were achieved. 

About 430 of the top schools in India are affiliated with the Cambridge (CAIE) exam board, which are located mainly in Mumbai, Bangalore and the NCR. CMS Cambridge Section is the only CAIE affiliated school in Lucknow.

Founder Manager of City Montessori School, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi congratulated all students and their teachers and said: “We are delighted that our affiliation with the CAIE board enables us to make available a different kind of pedagogy to the young people of Lucknow, that prepares them with the skills needed for today’s world, and that we nurture such phenomenal talent".
