CMS student receives US$ 1,59,200 scholarship offer from Drexel University, USA

Lucknow, May 26 : Kanishka Kumar Singh, a student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I has been offered admission with a scholarship of US$ 1,59,200 by the prestigious Drexel University of USA for pursuing higher education there. This scholarship has been offered to him for the entire study period of four years. Apart from this, 10 more universities of the USA and UK have also offered him admission with scholarships. These include, USA's Arizona State University, Miami University, University of Cincinnati, University of Texas Dallas, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Beloit College and Foothill and De Anza College and England's Staffordshire University, Solent University and University of Greenwich. Thus, another meritorious CMS student has brought fame to the City of Lucknow having received admission offers with scholarships from highly ranked universities abroad on the basis of his excellent academic record, hard work and talents.

            Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that each year more than 100 CMS students are offered admissions in the top universities of the world.  This year already, over 60 CMS students have been offered admissions in the top universities of USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Germany, etc., most of them on scholarships. He further added that CMS makes consistent efforts to expand students' horizons and provide them opportunities, facilitating their studies in top institutions of higher education both in India and abroad. CMS is the only SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test center in Uttar Pradesh, which enables students of U.P. and other surrounding states to apply for higher studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships. Prior to this, students of UP who wished to study abroad had to travel to Delhi to find a SAT exam center.
